Writing for your church
Worship songwriters: Write songs that communicate the heart of what God is saying to your church. Ask your pastor what the next sermon series is about and drive it home with your next song!

A little tip for musicians:
Learn to play to the room. If it's a small crowd, you should probably play softer. If everyone seems ready to go, dig in and play. Every week — even every moment — can be different. Be aware of what is needed at all times.

Thought for the day:
“There will be no manifestation of the presence of Christ without acute desire. God waits to be wanted. Sadly, He often must wait so very long”.

Humility
Worship Leaders: Do yourself a favor and be HUMBLE! First, because humility is attribute number one for worship, and second, because no one on your team will want to follow you if they sense a spirit of pride.
Confidence that is bathed in humility is something that every worship leader should long for.

Mother Teresa quote
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."
